There are plenty of ways for music lovers (who also happen to love Twitter) to combine their passions. Thanks to the thought that has gone into several Twitter tools, users can share the music they enjoy with millions of others instantly and easily. If you love to tweet and are interested in sharing music with your followers, consider the following apps:

TWTfm

This Twitter app allows you to tweet a track page that looks like your Twitter profile page. Just log in, search for an artist and track, and click "Preview." Once the page is created, tweet it and your followers can listen to it.

BLIP.fm

BLIP.fm provides a real-time stream that is similar to Twitter for music but also enables you to share tracks with your followers. This tool also helps you find friends with similar music interests.

Tinysong

TinySong shortens URLs for music. This easy-to-use application allows you to enter the web address for the song that you would like to share and provides you with a shorter version of the URL, making it easier to tweet your song within the 140 character limit.

SoundHound

SoundHound is an ingenious tool that can help you find music with your portable electronics including Windows Mobile, iPhone, iPad, Android, and Symbian devices. You can conduct searches by speaking your search or by actually humming the tune. The application will find the song you are looking for and provide you with lyrics and artist information.

Twiturm

Twiturm is a Twitter tool designed for artists who want to share their music with their fans. This app allows users to link to shortened MP3 URLs online or directly upload MP3 files. The MP3 URLs link to a Twiturm page where visitors can play, download, and retweet tracks. Artists can keep track of downloads and plays for each song.

Nimbit

Nimbit is another Twitter app that music artists can use to promote their audible content. This premium service creates a user dashboard that helps artists set up a customized shop to sell merchandise, track fans, and create custom social media profiles.

Statuzer

Statuzer helps tweeps search for songs, play music, and link to multimedia sites such as YouTube and Flickr, as well as Twitpic and other apps. This tool is linked to Jamendo, which is a database of free music that is legal to download. Statuzer can also play MP3 songs directly from Song.ly.

Whether you are a music lover, an enthusiastic fan, or an upcoming artist, you can share the music that you know and love with any of these Twitter apps. Enjoy music with your friends with the help of Twitter!
